Emirates News Agency – WIZZ AIR Abu Dhabi airline launches maiden flight to Turkey

ABU DHABI, 19th January, 2023 (WAM) — Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the UAE’s ultra-low-fare national carrier, has started operations on a new route to Ankara, Turkey’s second largest city, and has started selling tickets on the airline. Tickets start as low as Dh199 on the company’s website and mobile app.

The national carrier currently flies to more than 36 destinations in 25 different countries and is poised to further accelerate and expand operations in 2023.

Flights from Abu Dhabi to Ankara operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Michael Berlouis, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, said: “We are kicking off the new year by extending our growing network further into Europe, a key growth region for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, expanding our eclectic range of fantastic destinations Combination.
