Abu Dhabi [UAE]Jan 19 (ANI): Union Minister of State (MoS) V Muraleedharan held separate meetings with Attorney General and Tolerance Minister united arab emirates (UAE) discussed issues facing the United Arab Emirates on Thursday indian community in West Asian countries.
During a meeting with Abdullah al-Nouaimi, UAE Minister of Justice, MoS Muraleedharan India-UAE cooperation in consular matters and people-to-people ties between the two countries were discussed.
“Had a productive meeting in Abu Dhabi with Abdullah Al Nuaimi, UAE Minister of Justice. We discussed India-UAE cooperation on consular matters and processes to help address any challenges facing the UAE indian community And the time-honored people-to-people ties between the two countries,” Muraleedharan tweeted after the meeting in Abu Dhabi.
Muraleedharan held talks with Tolerance Minister Sheikh Nahyan on cultural cooperation, sports and community welfare.
“Great to interact with Sheikh Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance in Abu Dhabi. Discussion on cultural cooperation, sports and community welfare. Thank you for his ongoing support and sponsorship of the Indian diaspora in the UAE,” MoS tweeted in another.

In an earlier statement, foreign ministry (MEA) says MoS to meet with UAE ministers, broad cross-border indian community In Abu Dhabi, Dubai and other emirates of UAE.
According to the MEA statement, the Minister will also communicate with indian businessman, professionals, teachers and students. MOS will also work with indian blue collar worker and UAE social leaders.
India and the UAE continue to coordinate closely in the spirit of a comprehensive strategic partnership. According to the official press release, this year is special for both India and the UAE as they hold the presidencies of G20 and COP28 respectively.
Earlier, in December last year, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar visited the UAE, while UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited India in November 2022.
The UAE Foreign Minister also participated in the Voices of the G20-related Global South Summit hosted by India on January 13. (ANI)
