Here’s when and how to watch them

After months and months of predictions and discussions, the Oscar nominations are finally here.we have our list promising candidate Rounded up, now just have to wait and see what the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decides. Below are brief instructions on when and how you can watch the nominations live.

When will the nomination list be announced?

Nominations will be announced Tuesday, January 24 at 8:30am ET / 5:30am PT at the Samuel Godwin Theater.

Where can I watch the nominations?

Nominations will be broadcast live on ABC Good Morning America, and on Goodmorningamerica.com, ABC News Live, Disney+, oscar website and Oscar Networkand the College’s social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Who announces the nominations?

sound of metal riz ahmed and M3GAN Allison Williams will announce this year’s nominees.

Ahmed was previously nominated for his performance in The Sound of Metal in 2019 and won an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 2020 for his co-writing long farewell.

Williams recently starred in this hilarious horror flick M3GANand is best known for her lead performance on HBO’s the girls and Jordan Peele’s go out. Back in 2017, Ahmed appeared on two episodes of the girls Opposite Lena Dunham.

Who will be nominated?

Well, that’s the whole point of the announcement, stupid goose.However, the academy shared its shortlist several categoriesincluding Best Music (Original Score), Best Documentary Feature Film and Best International Feature Film.

Some of the frontrunners for best picture include everything is everywhere, Top Gun: Maverick, The Fabelmans, The Banshees Of Inisherin, TÁRand Elvis PresleyTheir corresponding directors qualify for the Best Director category.

Under the acting category, those gaining momentum include Colin FarrellBanshee of Inisherin), Brendan Fraser (whale), Austin Butler (Elvis Presley), Michelle Yeoh (everything is everywhere), Cate Blanchett (library), and Viola Davis (Queen). Ke Huy Quan appears to be the winner in the supporting category and many hope his EAAAO supporting role stephanie xu Also gets the nod.

The Oscars themselves will air on March 12, Jimmy Kimmel is the moderator the third time.
