It was announced on Thursday that school students in the UAE can experience four planned educational trips for Expo 2020 Dubai for free.
The World Expo School Plan reservation system is now open to public and private schools nationwide.
The Expo 2020 team stated: “Each journey is an interesting and immersive learning experience, designed to stimulate critical thinking, effective communication and intellectual growth of students of all ages. Four journeys-the UAE’s heritage, the world of opportunities, A sustainable planet and a universe in motion-in the three vibrant themed areas of the Expo (opportunity, mobility and sustainability) and various pavilions celebrating the UAE’s heritage and future. Each journey offers and Unique learning opportunities consistent with diverse school curricula in the UAE.”

Alya Al Ali, vice president of the Expo School Project, said that students must be equipped with future skills and engage them in conversations that can have an impact.
“Each of our four journeys provided students with a meaningful, educational and interesting experience. Our goal is to inspire them in an immersive and engaging environment and allow them to explore the keys to future progress. Drivers and discover the latest technologies and ideas displayed in more than 200 pavilions. We encourage every school in the UAE to make the most of these free and engaging learning opportunities during the Expo 2020,” she said.
Reservations include entry to Expo 2020, quick entry to the theme pavilion, and student identification tape. The Expo will also provide free admission for accompanying adults, “there are different proportions according to the age group of the students.”
The six-month event will start on October 1.
