The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee has updated the travel procedures for citizens, residents and tourists entering Abu Dhabi from abroad.
Starting from Sunday, September 5th, Covid-vaccinated travelers arriving in Abu Dhabi from all destinations do not need to be quarantined. Unvaccinated travelers from destinations not on the “green list” must be quarantined for 10 days.
Before flying to Abu Dhabi, all travelers—whether vaccinated or unvaccinated—must show a negative PCR test within 48 hours before departure.
Here is all the information you need to know:
Passengers vaccinated from the green list
Vaccinated citizens, residents, and tourists arriving from green-listed destinations must undergo PCR testing on arrival without isolation. If they stay in the emirate, they must perform the PCR test again on the sixth day.
Vaccinated travelers from all other destinations
When arriving from other destinations, vaccinated passengers must undergo PCR testing on arrival without isolation. They must also be tested on the 4th and 8th day.

Passengers on the “green” list who have not been vaccinated
Unvaccinated citizens, residents, and tourists from green-listed destinations must undergo PCR testing upon arrival, without isolation, and undergo PCR testing on the 6th and 9th days.
Unvaccinated travelers from all other destinations
Newly issued visa holders do not need GDRFA, ICA approval
When arriving from other destinations, citizens, residents and tourists who have not been vaccinated must undergo PCR testing upon arrival, be isolated for 10 days, and undergo PCR testing again on the 9th day.
