Authorities have asked the public to follow certain tips to keep themselves safe during this time

According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather in the UAE will be unstable.
Cloudy to cloudy. Convective clouds will bring rain, thunder and lightning to scattered areas of the UAE.
Temperatures will hit 24°C in Abu Dhabi and 23°C in Dubai. The emirates will see lows of 15°C and 16°C respectively.
Light enough for a stroke to kick up dust. Seas in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman were choppy.
Tips to Follow During Unstable Weather
The Ministry of the Interior and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Agency (NCEMA) declared that the country was “ready to deal with any emergency situation that may arise due to the current weather conditions and their fluctuations”.
In separate posts, the ministry and NCM issued tips to follow during severe weather:
- Follow official weather forecasts and follow directions issued by authorities.
- Avoid driving unless absolutely necessary. Drive carefully if required and remain alert and vigilant for the safety of all road users.
- Turn on low beams when visibility is reduced.
