Hello again, Wisconsin!almost every That ’70s Show Character returns to hang out (on the street) That ’90s show. Netflix’s revival of the iconic Fox comedy delivered a dose of nostalgia, while also giving fans an insight into what happened to most of its beloved characters nearly 20 years after the events of 2017. That ’70s Show series finale.
So who came back to reprise their roles and where did all the characters go in 1995? Why is a major character so conspicuously absent from the revival?

Kitty and Red Forman
Of all the original characters, Foreman’s parents play the most important role in the revival. Most of the action happens again in red (Kurtwood Smith) and the kitten’s (Debra Jo Rupp) beloved house in Point Place, Wisconsin. Since Eric (Topher Grace) and his friends have all grown up and moved away, but they still have an important connection to the original cast, as Leia (Callie Haverda) is actually Eric and Donna’s (Laura Prepon) daughter. As Kitty accidentally gives Leia Eric the marijuana he stashed as a teenager, she inadvertently brings the iconic “circle” dialogue to a new generation.

In the premiere episode, Eric and Donna return to Point Place with Leia to see Red and Kitty on the Fourth of July. It was meant to be just a short stop over the holidays, but inexperienced Leia made new friends nearby that pushed her out of her comfort zone to try new things, so she eventually convinced her parents to let her spend the entire summer with her grandparents.
By the end of the premiere, a reluctant Eric and Donna returned home to Chicago, where she was a writer and he was an adjunct professor teaching religious beliefs star warsHowever, for various reasons, they return in later episodes to see what Leia has been up through the summer, bringing her back to Chicago at the end of the summer.
Prepon took on a bigger role behind the scenes, directing the final two episodes of the season.

Jackie and Kelso
Jackie Burkhart (Mila Kunis) and Michael Kelso (aston kutcher) have not received their happiness since That ’70s show. The former high school sweethearts ended the original series as exes, with Jackie having a relationship with Faith (Wilmer Valderrama). But they are doing well now – they found their way back to each other That ’90s Show.
The premiere reveals that Jackie and Kelso are actually on their way to their “second remarriage,” when they stop at Red and Katie’s house to drop a bomb that neighbor boy Leia is smashing is actually It’s their teenage son Jay (May Coronel). Kelso proudly declares that Jay has inherited his father’s playboy style (he even sang the classic “BURN!” later in the season, further proving he’s his father’s son), but also has his Mom’s wisdom. To say Red and Kitty are freaking out is an understatement.

As for Jackie’s ex, Fez returns several times throughout the season.His first appearance in episode 2 was to spread the word about what has happened since we last saw his relationship with Jackie on screen That ’70s Show ending.
Fez, now owner of the successful salon chain Chez Fez, cuts Kitty’s hair and reveals that he and Jackie eventually broke up because he discovered she still had feelings for Kelso. He actually grabbed her and Kelso’s phone while they were on vacation together, and she ended up leaving him there. During the rest of the trip, he was kicked out of the hot tub for “talking too much.” Fez is now dating Formans’ neighbor Sherri (Andrea Anders), the mother of two of Leia’s new friends, and he returns again in the finale to cement their relationship.
Hyde
The only original protagonist not returning for the revival is Steven Hyde (danny masterson) due to legal troubles in the actor’s real life. Masterson indicted in June 2020 “The rape of three women in separate incidents between 2001 and 2003”. These women are all known as Jane Does. Masterson, who denies all charges, was arrested and released on $3.3 million bond. Los Angeles rape trial ends in mistrial in November 2022 After jurors said they could not reach a consensus. A re-examination is scheduled for March.

Bob Pinjoti
Donna’s fool father Bob (Don Stark) He may no longer live next door to Red and Kitty at Point Place, but he’ll still return in Episode 6 to surprise granddaughter Leia for her birthday. It turned into a contest to impress Red and become Leia’s favorite grandpa, and Bob ended up annoyed at Leia’s party by performing the most inappropriate karaoke song in true Bob fashion bob.
Leo
it’s wrong to bring it back That ’70s Show The character does not have the cute Stonealeo! The legendary Tommy Chong returns for multiple episodes, and 17 years later, he’s still as high as he was in the original series.
Fenton
Jim Rash makes one of the last surprise cameos of the season, playing Sherri’s difficult landlord in the finale. But he and Fith finally settled their long-standing grievances when Fith gave him a nice blond wig in exchange for him finally solving all the problems at Shirley’s house, which in turn proved Fith to Shirley Is a boyfriend worth staying by your side.
