(NYSE: sea area), a leading theme parks and entertainment company, today announced the promotion of eight business leaders as part of an organizational restructuring aimed at positioning the company for continued growth and long-term value creation.This includes forming a new Chief Transformation Officer role and appointing two experienced park leaders to the joint role of Chief Park Operations Officer (CPOO), with one responsible for Florida Park and another leading all nonFlorida garden. The company also named an interim chief financial officer and treasurer, three new campus presidents and a new chief administrative officer. All roles involve promotion within the organization.

Current Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer cher adams Promoted to the new role of Chief Transformation Officer. In this new role, Adams will be responsible for simplifying and redesigning organizational processes and implementing high-value initiatives to ensure the successful execution of our transformation strategy. She will also be responsible for leading our business development and growth activities. Adams last year from the Cosmopolitan of las vegas She is responsible for driving business transformation and process improvement across the organization.
Jim Forrest Promoted to Interim Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Forrester has been with SeaWorld since 2019, most recently serving as Vice President of Finance for Orlando parks including SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Discovery Cove. He has more than two decades of theme park finance experience, including at The Walt Disney Company, walt disney worldand Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, among others.
Two experienced park leaders have been promoted to the joint position of Chief Park Operations Officer (CPOO). The CPOO will collectively oversee all park operations. Kyle Miller Promoted to CPOO Florida garden. Miller has served as park president for SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove and Orlando Aquatica since 2019 and has been with the companies for approximately 28 years. Byron Surrett Promoted to CPOO for all non-Florida garden. Since 2019, Surrett has served as Parks President of SeaWorld San Antonio and Wet San Antonio, and this June he will celebrate 47 years with the company.
Three leaders were promoted to the position of park president. These include Jon ‘JP’ Peterson, who has been promoted to SeaWorld Orlando’s park president. Peterson has been with SeaWorld for about 30 years and has been SeaWorld Orlando’s vice president of animal operations since 2019. bradley gilmore Promoted to Park President for Aquatica Orlando and Discovery Cove. Gilmour has served as Discovery Cove’s Vice President of Park Operations for the past four years, 2023 mark his 20day Work in the company for one year. Jody Davenport Promoted to Park President for SeaWorld San Antonio and Water Park San Antonio. Davenport has been with SeaWorld since 2020, most recently serving as the park’s vice president of finance and IT. Prior to joining SeaWorld, Davenport worked at Six Flags for nearly 20 years in various financial positions, including Controller.
Shekufi Boyle Promoted to Chief Accounting Officer, reporting to Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Boyle is in his 9th year with SeaWorld Entertainment and most recently served as the company’s Corporate Controller and Vice President of Accounting. Prior to joining SeaWorld, she worked as an audit manager in public accounting. Boyle is a Chartered Accountant.
All promotions and changes are effective immediately.
