A ceremony celebrating the signing of the agreement was held at the Emirates Group Headquarters with Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates and Group, Cultural Advisor to the President of the UAE, Zaki · Anwar Nusseibeh attended the ceremony as a member of the board of directors of the United Arab Emirates University and AGDA. AGDA’s five-day course will give UAE Country Managers a thorough understanding of the diplomatic skills needed to effectively represent the Emirates Group overseas and achieve its business and commercial goals. A series of tailor-made practical training courses will also serve as a platform for knowledge exchange and enrich the capabilities of UAE managers in the aviation sector.

The Business Ambassador Leadership Program highlights the Emirates Group’s commitment to its Emirati talent. It focuses on developing the leadership skills of UAE country managers and their effectiveness in four key areas, including international protocol and global trends, media skills, people engagement and management, and diplomacy.

This allows ambitious and talented Emiratis to take on strategic roles in the Group’s global markets, gaining wider exposure, expanding networks and becoming accomplished leaders. In these roles, they are responsible for advancing commercial objectives and enriching relationships with key local partners and regulators. They work with communities, the public sector and businesses to facilitate strategic linkages of trade, tourism and business activities between the UAE and its local markets.
