Organized by the Global MICE Organization Limited (GMOL Events) in partnership with Match Spot, the tournament will be divided into three categories: UAE Residents Open, UAE Nationals and GCC Nationals for Men and Women. A total of more than 90 teams signed up for the six play-offs, including more than 50 men’s teams and 35 women’s teams.
The Emirates Post Group UAE Wild Card Championship kicks off with the UAE Resident Open at the Padel Arena in Sharjah in three days. The second race, for UAE nationals, will follow the same knockout format at the World Padel Academy in Dubai from 3-5 February. Advanced padel players from other GCC countries will compete in the third round at the Abu Dhabi Padel Hub at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on 10-11 February.
The final of the six championships will be held at the Abu Dhabi Padel Center on February 12, with each winning team receiving a wild card that will qualify them to play against the world’s top seeded padel players in the Modon Abu Qualifier Dhabi Padel Master, will be held at 321 Sports, Hudayriyat Island, from 18th to 20th February. This will be followed by the main draw for the Modon Abu Dhabi Padel Master at Bab Al Nojoum, Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi, from 21st to 26th February.
