SITA partners with Zamna to digitize business travel processes

[ad_1]

SITA has partnered with travel identification company Zamna Technologies to innovate with cutting-edge technology to enhance its airline, airport and border solutions.

Zamna’s solution uses a blockchain-based decentralized model to transform the verification and processing of passenger data such as passports, visas and health information, bringing safe, convenient and efficient travel to passenger airlines, airports and governments. Advantage. The first deployment will focus on AACO’s more than 30 airlines.

Instead of passengers having to re-present their travel documents to every touchpoint on every flight, Zamna’s ability to validate and securely store this data will provide SITA customers with ongoing automation enhancements, supporting SITA’s vision of a fully digital travel experience.

Airlines and airports will benefit from tested and proven technology to reduce processing times and reduce the infrastructure required to process passengers. At the same time, border agencies will encounter fewer exceptions and travelers requiring on-the-spot processing because border inspections are completed prior to departure.

Throughout their journey, passengers will feel peace of mind knowing that data is handled more securely and that they meet all travel regulatory requirements. The solution also enhances the security of SITA customers, whose data is managed in a secure, private and decentralized manner.

Airlines, airports and governments can drive operational savings through confidence in the accuracy and timeliness of passenger data. Verified passenger data will be securely shared throughout the journey, eliminating duplicate processes, increasing trust and improving the passenger experience.

This approach is a paradigm shift that is fundamentally changing the management of data in the aviation industry, elegantly ensuring that individual travelers have minimal impact and their documents are read and verified once and put to use many times. SITA’s scale and expert work with more than 1,000 airports and more than 70 governments puts the company in a unique position to lead this industry-wide commitment to transformation.
David Lavorel, SITA CEO, said: “The partnership with Zamna Technologies drives the next step in SITA’s journey to realize its vision of a truly connected and digital travel experience, with all the benefits it will bring: efficiency, improved passenger experience, and Increased security.”

Irra Ariella Khi, CEO, Zamna Technologies added: “SITA has already made great strides in making travel seamless through its innovative digital travel solutions. Take the next step and transform the journey. Together we will leverage Zamna to digitize travel documents and processes with Identity Rails, dramatically improving travel efficiency and providing secure travel identities for all – whether through airports or across borders .” – trade arab news agency
