Leading Dubai developer Damac Properties has awarded a major engineering contract worth AED886 million (US$241 million) to China State Construction Engineering Corporation for the construction of the 71-storey Cavalli Tower.
The contract was awarded by Damac to complete the main works construction of the luxury high-end residential tower in Dubai Marina, a Damac statement said.
The commissioning of Cavalli Tower was carried out by the National Piling Company (NPC), whose piling and excavation works were completed in December 2022.
Upon completion, Cavalli Tower will feature state-of-the-art interiors by renowned Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli, with views of the Palm Jumeirah.
The Cavalli Tower has a development value of AED 2 billion and consists of 436 units divided into three sections. The Dubai developer said the first section is considered luxurious, the middle section offers premium luxury units, and the top floor offers ultra-luxury features and finishes within its units.
According to Damac, the deluxe and upper deluxe sections of the towers will have access to private sky pools and sky gardens, while the super deluxe category will feature exclusive infinity pools, cigar lounges and private pavilions where residents can host their own private dinner parties.
All units – whether 2-bedroom apartments or 5-bedroom duplexes – will feature high ceilings and ocean views from the unit’s balcony. Other features of the Cavalli Tower include a four-story lobby, a Malibu Bay-inspired beach pool in the gardens and bespoke services such as 24-hour butler service and à la carte butler service, the developer said.
Moreover, it added, each home in the ultra-luxury category will have its own private pool or jacuzzi.
Announcing the contract award, project general manager Mohammed Tahaineh said: “Following a rigorous selection process, we are proud to appoint China State Construction Engineering Corporation as our main contractor to assist in the construction of a truly iconic building that embodies sophistication and elegance . “
Tahaineh said: “We are very pleased with the progress we have made so far in realizing this landmark project. With construction progressing steadily, Cavalli Tower is beautifully shaped and will be the epitome of Damac Properties’ iconic branded residences. part.”
According to Damac, the Cavalli-branded tower has attracted a lot of interest for its dazzling floor plan and ultra-luxurious amenities.
The tower’s design is the brainchild of award-winning architect Shaun Killa, who also designed Dubai’s fascinating Museum of the Future.
Damac and China State Construction Engineering Corporation, which had previously worked together, were appointed as the main contractor for Damac Aykon City on Sheikh Zayed Road, it added –trade arab news agency
