Dressed in a red outfit, the singer opened her set with “B***h Better Have My Money,” before moving on to “Where Have You Been” as she took a dance break.
Additionally, the singer sang “Only Girl (In the World),” “We Found Love,” and “S&M.”
It was party time, and the singer kicked off the show’s second segment with “Work,” before she moved into “Wild Thoughts” and “Pour it Up.”
The mogul checked her makeup with a Fenty Beauty compact before heading into “All of the Lights,” kicking off the third act of a high-energy performance that also included “Run This Town” and “Umbrella.”
At the end of the show, Rihanna performed “Diamonds” as she floated above the packed State Farm Stadium, ending with a spectacular fireworks display.
The singer took to the stage surrounded by dancers throughout the 29-minute performance. Rihanna was on stage alone, with no guest appearances, although collaborator Jay-Z, DJ Khaled and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, were all in attendance at the stadium.
The show marked Rihanna’s first performance since 2018 and her first since she and A$AP Rocky welcomed their son in May.
Ahead of Sunday’s big game, ET caught up with Rihanna – after her halftime show press conference – she raved about her already big 2023.
“It really felt like a lot of things were going on at the same time,” she told ET’s Kevin Frazier. “Being a mother, the Oscars, the Super Bowl, I’m still pinching myself, really. I’m grateful. I’m grateful.”
