A video of Vijay at the Leo shooting range has made its way to social media.
It took filmmakers decades to get out of the studio and shoot movies on real locations, and advanced technology has helped speed up the process. Now, those same technological advances are hampering outdoor shoots, as a smartphone is more than enough to capture what’s happening on a movie set and leak it to the world. A few months ago, set photos of Suriya’s upcoming film with director Siva leaked online, much to the dismay of the producers. Now, VijayLeo of Leo faced a similar problem after a leaked clip from the Kashmiri film set went viral on social media.

In the video, Vijay looks stylish in a white shirt, black trousers and black hiking shoes. He has the same hairstyle as he did in the movie’s first trailer. The cast is seen talking to a cast member. Meanwhile, the film’s director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, is waving to the camera to stop filming.
In addition to making Leo, the crew has also been tasked with Himalayan to prevent such leaks and manage crowds on set because of the huge anticipation for the film.
Besides Vijay, Trisha, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas and Mansoor Ali Khan were also filmed in Kashmir. Leo marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj, who produced the blockbuster Master in 2021.On top of that, Leo is speculated to be part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, and The film’s title reveal video suggests the same thing.
Leo, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, will be released on October 19, 2023.
