Wego Partners with JNTO to Highlight Winter Experiences

Wego, the region’s leading online travel marketplace, has partnered with the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) for a campaign to highlight different aspects of Japan and showcase the best winter experiences.

This will be promoted through all of Wego’s marketing channels.

There are cherry blossoms in spring, greenery in summer, red leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. The greatest feature of Japan is diversity, allowing you to enjoy natural scenery and unique experiences in different seasons throughout the year.

“Especially in winter, you can go skiing on powder snow that is said to be the best in the world, and you can also taste hot pot cooked with seasonal ingredients such as crabs and oysters. Please relax in the hot springs. There are many ways to enjoy winter in Japan, and tourists will To be able to discover its endless charm. Visitors can visit some of the most spectacular snow festivals in the world, including the Sapporo Snow Festival, Akita-Kandachi Kogen Snow Festival and Yokote Kamakura Snow Festival. These events include giant snow sculptures, ice lantern displays and other winter wonders.

Ski enthusiasts can visit some of the best ski resorts in the world, such as Niseko, Hakuba, and Nozawa Onsen, as well as ski at a winter sports facility at the Roof of Japan or in a snow monster.

After a day of winter activities, visitors can also try out Olympic-level winter sports and charming towns that retain the atmosphere of old Japan.
