Anyone who buys tickets during the promotion will stand a chance to win a grand prize of AED 15 million on March 3

Three individuals added Dh100,000 to their fortunes as Big Ticket Abu Dhabi selected the latest winners in its weekly e-draws. One is a Filipino national and two are Indian nationals residing in different countries.

Deepu Balan K, an Indian expat living in Dubai, recently moved to a new company as a graphic designer. He bought his first big ticket with six of his colleagues and got the winning call just days after buying it.

William Rodriguez, a longtime Filipino expatriate in Qatar, said he used to just watch the famous Abu Dhabi jackpot draw on YouTube until he finally decided to try his luck last year. For the past year, he and 12 colleagues have pooled money to buy tickets every month.

Now that he won the lottery, the expat — who works as an executive driver — plans to send his share of the winnings to family in his hometown in the Philippines.

Another Indian national, Renjith Kumar, was the third Dh100,000 winner in February.

He first heard about Big Ticket through his father-in-law, who used to live in Dubai and bought tickets regularly. Renjith, a software engineer, said he started buying raffle tickets with his family three years ago and plans to continue doing so in the hope that one day he will win jackpot.

Big Ticket customers who purchase raffle tickets in February will automatically enter the weekly e-draw where 3 winners will win AED 100,000 per month.
