Former TOWIE star Sam Faiers recently enjoyed a family holiday but later explained she found the flight to and from Abu Dhabi very stressful
Sam Fairs The actress revealed that her recent flight to Abu Dhabi did not go as smoothly as she had planned thanks to longtime partner Paul Knightley.
The former TOWIE star, 32, recently enjoyed a luxurious trip to the United Arab Emirates with Paul and their three children Paul Jr., 6, Rosie, 5, and Edward, 6 months.
Joining them on the luxury holiday were Sam’s sister Billie, her husband Greg Shepherd and their three children Nelly, 8, Arthur, 5 and their baby girl Margot.
Sam and Billie kick off their family vacation and reminisce about the best and worst parts of their recent trip – Sam explains that she found the flight to and from Abu Dhabi the most stressful.
The mum-of-three was left mortified when her long-term partner Paul kept yelling at him as he watched a football match on his way home from Abu Dhabi, with a passenger throwing a dirty Eyes, expressing their frustration.
On the latest episode of their podcast, The Billy and Sam Show, the former TOWIE star recalled: “There was a guy next to me who was shaking his head. He was shaking his head at Big Paul.
“Arsenal were playing on the way home – it was a pretty big game and you could watch it live on the plane. I think it was 2-0 down or something and we scored two goals and It was intense. So it was like a very crazy, intense competition.
“Every time we scored, Paul would yell ‘yes, go ahead, get in the car!’.”
“Finally I told him he had to stop doing it. People were trying to relax and the guy next to us was mad at it. He shook his head and I think that made him jump.”
Sam went to explain that her youngest child, Edward, was also having a rough time on the flight back from Abu Dhabi, getting just 30 minutes of sleep during the eight-hour flight.
Both Sam and Billie previously shared a series of stunning family photos from their vacation in the desert with the happy family.
The trip marked the first time the older sister went on vacation as a family since Billy married Greg in 2019.
