His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the fourth stage of the UAE Tour 2023 in Dubai on Thursday.
A total of 137 professional riders from 20 teams from all over the world participated in this international cycling championship.
Sheikh Mohammed greeted the contestants as they cycled along the tourist route in the Al Marmoom area. He was accompanied by Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, UAE Vice President and Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Protocol; and Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council.
Stage 4 of the UAE Tour 2023 starts in the Al Shindagha neighborhood and is 174 kilometers long. The route passes through Al Qudra, Dubai Expo City and Palm Jumeirah and ends at Dubai Harbour.
The UAE Tour is organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The 2023 UAE Tour, which began on February 20, will conclude on Sunday with the seventh stage. The total mileage of the tour is 1,028 kilometers.
