The Vice President of the UAE called the ruler of Ajman “a partner in nation-building”.
The Vice President of the UAE praised the ruler of Ajman for serving the country for 40 years.
On Tuesday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, called the ruler of Ajman “a partner in building the country” on Twitter.
His Royal Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council and ruler of Ajman, came to power on September 6, 1981. He inherited his father Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, who ruled Ajman for 54 years.
Sheikh Mohamed said on Twitter that the name of Sheikh Humaid is engraved in “the history of our country.”
Sheikh Humad is one of the founders of the UAE. As a representative of his father, he contributed to the establishment of the alliance.
He was born in Ajman in 1933. When he was young, he studied in a mosque, where he learned about the Koran, the Sunnah, and the basis of Islamic jurisdiction. Before going to Cairo to continue his education, he received a series of teachings from scholars in religion, language and mathematics.
In 1960, he became Crown Prince of Ajman and assisted his late father in establishing the early foundations of the modern emirate.
