FLORIDA, March 1 (AP) – A Florida judge ordered rapper Kodak Black to do a 30-day detox on Tuesday after he allegedly tested positive for fentanyl while awaiting trial on drug trafficking charges.
Broward County Judge Barbara Duffy allowed the performer to remain free until March 7 so he could play music at Rolling Loud near Los Angeles over the weekend, the Miami Herald reported. Perform at the meeting.

A warrant for Duffy’s arrest had been issued earlier. The 25-year-old performer missed a court-ordered drug test on February 3 before testing positive on February 8. He is awaiting trial following his arrest in July on oxycodone trafficking charges. He pleaded not guilty.
“You better get it together,” Duffy, whose real name is Bill Capri, told the 25-year-old performer.
During the hour-long hearing, the singer’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, said a star-struck drug lab technician may have mixed up samples or paperwork. The technician who took the sample acknowledged that it was possible.
But when Duffy suggested the singer get a hair test, the defense declined. Hair tests can detect drug use going back 90 days, compared to the days that urine and blood tests typically capture.
In January 2020, then-President Donald Trump commuted the rapper’s three-year federal prison sentence for falsifying documents used to purchase weapons. Bly overcame about half of his sentence.
Blake, who was named Hip-Hop Artist of the Year at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, has sold more than 30 million singles, including hits like “Super Gremlin,” which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 last year. (Associated Press)
