Dubai’s beloved crown prince has completed 15 years at the helm of the Emirates Executive Council. To commemorate this moment, the Dubai Executive Committee released a video containing Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s 15-year journey leading various Dubai government entities Montage:

The scene in the video resembles a young Sheikh Hamdan in a parliamentary meeting; he interacts with officials and the people; and the Crown Prince of Dubai leads a special tribute to frontline heroes during the peak of Covid-19.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, appointed Sheikh Hamdan as the Chairman of the Executive Committee on September 8, 2006.

The committee is responsible for formulating and implementing Dubai’s strategic and comprehensive development plan. Under his leadership, it promoted development and made Dubai an emerging center of international business, commerce, tourism and logistics.

Speaking of Sheikh Hamdan’s leadership, the Executive Committee stated on its website: “(He) has played a leading role in developing an interactive, informative and attractive government culture, and most importantly, for residents and Respond to the needs of the wider community. This is achieved through enhanced cooperation between different sectors of society and cooperation with various stakeholders.”
What is an executive committee?
The Executive Committee is Dubai’s main legislative government agency.
According to its website, the committee “supervises and guides government policies and services so that they are supported by four pillars: integrated government services; government excellence; strategy, policy, and corporate governance; and integrated government communications.”
“The committee established the infrastructure, incubated ideas through think tanks, and created working groups to implement and adopt based on public value.”

Sheikh Hamdan was born on November 14, 1982. He graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, England in 2001, and participated in the economics professional training courses of the London School of Economics and Dubai Government College.
He then continued to acquire practical skills in leadership and public management from his father, Sheikh Mohammed.
Since becoming Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan has been keen to follow Sheikh Mohammed and his leadership, and has made it his mission to implement his father’s ambitious development vision.
He often accompanied Sheikh Mohammed on high-profile visits and travels both inside and outside the UAE.
