Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have named their daughter Lilibet Diana, but the couple has yet to confirm.
Clues come from the Netflix docu-series Harry and Meghan, due out in December 2022, via British Daily Express.
Hollywood producers and close friends of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex say the christening may have already begun.
Perry shared that the couple had asked him to be “Lily’s godfather.” Upon hearing the request, the actor and producer noted his surprise, and shared that he “had to take a while to accept,” but added that he was “honored” to be asked.
“It took me a minute to come to terms with that, and I think I’d be honored. I would absolutely be honored,” he continued.
“Then I hung up and listened to everything and I called them back and I said ‘ah wait, does that mean we have to go out there and do everything in church with them? And count it all out, because I don’t want to do that,” Perry elaborated.
“Maybe we can have a private ceremony here, so be it, if you have to have it there, that’s fine.”
It follows news that the Sussexes are “likely” choosing to christen their daughter in the US.
said before sunroyal biographer and editor authoritative magazineIngrid Seward suggests, “If it [the christening] Happened in the UK obviously people will find out but if it happens [in California]I don’t know what official announcement will be made.
“They will have their Fashion Photographers out there, sure there will be pictures, but they probably won’t post any. “
