The 2022 Dubai Super Cup will be played at the Al Maktoum Stadium at Al Nasr Sports Club from 8-16 December (World Cup break)

AMH Sports has announced the launch of the Dubai Super Cup 2022, a major football tournament organized in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council (DSC).

The committee also awarded the cup, the Dubai Super Cup, to AMH Sports, an Emirati organization with a passion for sport and football.

The event aims to strengthen the sports tourism industry and pave the way for more international events.

The Dubai Super Cup 2022 will be held at Al Maktoum Stadium, Al Nasr Sports Club, from 8-16 December.

During the tournament’s official press conference, organizers announced the names of the international football clubs participating in the inaugural edition. These include 6-time UEFA Champions League winners Liverpool; 14-time FA Cup winners Arsenal; 7-time UEFA Champions League winners AC Milan and finally 8-time French Cup winners Olympique Lyonnais.

With football fever sweeping the globe, the matches, scheduled for the World Cup off-season on December 8, 11, 13 and 16, are officially sanctioned by FIFA, UEFA and AFC.

The race will see adrenaline-fueled racing and use the break as a winter training camp to prepare for the end of the season when the World Cup ends.

The Dubai Super Cup was launched under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Dubai Sports Council.

As fans around the world head to Qatar for the 2022 World Cup, the Dubai Super Cup will draw plenty of fan and media attention as it brings together popular teams that cater to a wide audience and unique styles.

The groundbreaking event will enhance Dubai’s status as a world-leading sports destination and contribute to the emirate’s tourism and economy.

The inaugural tournament will be the cornerstone of an annual series that will host the best teams and talent from around the world for years to come.
