The free extension of the validity period of iqama and exit re-entry visa is applicable to residents from countries that have suspended entry and staying abroad. For tourists who have been suspended from entering Saudi Arabia due to Covid-19, the validity period of visit visas has also been extended.
The extension issued by the Ministry of Finance is one of the Kingdom’s efforts to deal with the impact and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The General Administration of Passports stated that the extension will be carried out automatically in cooperation with the National Information Center, without the need to visit the passport department.
