Few days left to entertain at BNP Paribas

With the BNP Paribas Open wrapping up on Sunday, there’s plenty of action to enjoy before it’s over.

The final two events honoring community heroes will take place on Thursday and Friday. The Champions Volunteer Foundation honors locals between Games 1 and 2 of the first game of the night at Stadium 1.

Here’s a list of events happening throughout the weekend:

• Steve Furgal’s International Tennis Tour Day: There is a booth near the food village where you can learn more about the tennis tour.
• UTR Dingles Tournament: Special guests/players will compete in ‘Dingles’, a combined singles and doubles exhibition tennis format.This will take place at Stadium 4 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am to 12:30pm
• Tennis Talk with Tennis Podcaster and WTA Player Laura Siegemund: This will be on the Country Stage on Thursdays from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.
• Chef Sousa Demonstration: The chef on the suite floor will provide a cooking demonstration of his mole recipe.This will be held on the Village Stage on Thursdays from 2:30pm to 3:00pm
• Amy Serrano’s Evening Entertainment: Electric violinist Amy Serrano will perform on the Country Stage on Thursdays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
• Evening Entertainment with Skip Johnson Duo: A multi-instrumentalist will perform with his saxophone, acoustic guitar and vocals on the country stage on Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm
