The next Tyldesley Little Theater (TLT) production is three one-act nights around the Little Grimley Amateur Dramatics Society, a group of four members of questionable talent.
Together they try to hit the stage, perform dirty plays, pantomime and their first post-lockdown show… oh no they’re not, oh yes they are.
The Little Grimley trilogy featured some of TLT’s regulars, including Alex Clark as Chairman Gordon, who considered himself an extraordinary playwright.
Connor Parkinson, who recently won Best Supporting Actor at last month’s NODA Awards, will return as Banana Lovers set designer Bernard, whose lifelong dream is Stay away from the stage.
Karen Ward also returns in the production as Grimley’s heroine and biggest heroine, Margaret.
Director Hannah Boardman also welcomes Rebecca Southern to the stage for her debut role as Joyce, a good-natured but slow-headed Ma’am, she longs to act in a musical.
Rebecca joined TLT’s pantomime choir in December and soon took to the stage as her own lead.
The show will air Tuesday, March 21 through Saturday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m.
