UAE Family Office Association launches in Abu Dhabi Global Market to empower regional family offices – News

UAE Family Office Association The official launch at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), under the leadership of ADGM CEO Dhaher bin Dhaher Al Mheiri, marks an important milestone in the development of family offices in the UAE and globally.

The UAE Family Office Association aims to connect local and international family offices through a trusted platform that facilitates the exchange of ideas, knowledge transfer and exclusive networking. The association will also focus on preparing the next generation of family offices for multigenerational wealth transfers.

The launch was led by Adam Ladjadj, founder and chairman of the UAE Family Office Association, and co-founders Imran Khan and Fahad Al Ahbabi. Founding board members Ahmed Nasser Al Nowais and Miriam Kiwan played a key role in the formation of the association.

Ladjadj said: “We are delighted to launch the UAE Family Office Association to provide members of our family offices with a platform for networking, dialogue, and the resources, knowledge sharing and support they need to ensure success, while fostering collaboration and innovation.

“The launch of the UAE’s first family association is a major step forward for the GCC and the global family office space, and we are delighted to see the willingness to collaborate among family offices around the world.”

Commenting on the launch, Daher Al Mheiri added: “Through associations like the UAE Family Office Association, together we will support the family ecosystem.”

The UAE Family Office Association, an independent not-for-profit association, will work with curated partners and global associations to provide relevant insights and programs to support families, regulators and policy makers, and to discuss and engage with key stakeholders Challenge – Intergenerational Wealth Transfer. It will also provide members with a variety of educational programs and networking opportunities, allowing families to learn from those who have built long-term legacies through wealth preservation and growth. The Society strives to be the world’s authoritative source of information, unbiased advice, thought-leading research and education for family office executives, family members, successful entrepreneurs and their close advisors.

The inauguration of the UAE Family Office Association was attended by several prominent guests including Nasser Al Nowais, Chairman of Rotana Hotel Management Corporation PJSC and Aswaq Management and Services, and Jamal Aljarwan, Secretary General of the UAE International Investors Council (UAEIIC).

Several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during the event, including the Asian Family Office Association, Preqin and UAEIIC, demonstrating the strength of the association’s local and international reach. The UAE Family Office Association is inclusive and in the spirit of collaborating with other family office ecosystem players from around the world.
