King Charles’ affectionate address to Queen Camilla | World News

A royal photographer who has photographed King Charles III since 1977 has revealed the monarch’s nickname when referring to his wife Queen Camilla. Arthur Edwards said in his new album, Behind the Crown: My Photographs of the Royal Life, that Camilla “brought out the very best in King Charles”.

Arthur Edwards said King Charles “always” referred to Camilla as “my dear wife”, adding that Camilla “has such wonderful pleasure” and “brings spring in Charles’ footsteps”.

Recalling Charles and Camilla’s first trip to the US, the photographer said, “I remember going to a market in North Los Angeles and someone gave her a peach or something and then [Camilla] Started eating it, which is something no member of the royal family would do,” he told the publication.

“But she did. She really enjoyed it. I remember saying, ‘Diana would never do that.’ But she was different. She brought a whole new meaning to Prince Charles,” added Arthur Edwards road.

“He’s a happier man now. He’s content. He always calls her ‘my dear wife,'” the photographer further added.

The photographer also praised King Charles for “doing everything he can to make a difference,” saying, “For 70 years he’s been waiting to be king, but he’s not going to just sit there playing backgammon and drinking champagne. He’s going to have What he did, he did. He was the pioneer of the underdog. If a big supermarket came to a village and all the local shops would be destroyed, he would fight for the village.”

The coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla will take place in May this year.
