Dubai Financial Markets (DFM) announced today that it plans to launch new stock futures contracts for the individual stocks of three leading listed companies, including: Dubai Investments, DFM Corporation and Shuaa Capital on September 19, 2021 as its diversified investments Part of the opportunity strategy.
The addition of stock index futures contracts brings the total number of contracts for individual shares of 11 listed companies in 1, 2 and 3 months to 33.
Since its launch on October 18, 2020, the DFM stock futures market has been witnessing the active participation of investors and brokers. Through 336,000 transaction contracts, the total contract transaction volume reached 119 million dirhams.
DFM CEO Hassan Al Serkal said: “The rapid expansion of the DFM stock futures market underscores our commitment to diversification opportunities. It also caters to investors’ growing demand for this product as they are looking for diversification and hedging. Investment portfolio and obtain leverage to maximize its trading and returns.”
