Emirates News Agency – Sheikh Zayed Housing Plan issues 432 decisions worth AED299 million

ABU DHABI, 26th March, 2023 (WAM) — The Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, SZHP, an initiative of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, MoEI, has issued 432 housing assistance decisions worth AED 298.7 million Ram. This includes applications for home construction, completion, purchase, maintenance and upgrades. The move is part of the initiative of the UAE President and follows the order of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE to complete all housing grant applications submitted to the scheme at a total cost of approximately AED 2.3 billion Ram.
Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said: “As we usher in the holy month of Ramadan, the SZHP continues its efforts to strengthen family stability, ensure a decent life, and improve the quality of life for the UAE’s citizens. Significant investment by the UAE’s wise leadership Government housing because it helps to build a cohesive society that contributes to the progress of our country.”
Eng Mohamed Al Mansouri, Director, SZHP, said: “We have ambitious plans to meet the growing housing needs of UAE citizens.
