RTA resumes intercity bus service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi

[ad_1]

Both cities have the same dignity…

After a phone call with the Road and Transportation Administration (RTA), Latest News It can be confirmed that the E101 intercity bus service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi has resumed.

According to public health policies related to the global pandemic, this route has been suspended since 2020. But now the city-to-city cruiser is back, transporting people between the two largest emirates.

Where can I take the bus from?

RTA’s E101 bus service operates between Dubai’s Ibn Batuta Mall Bus Station and Abu Dhabi’s Central Bus Station (next to Al Wahda Mall). There are two stops on the way, one at Samha (halfway through the itinerary) and Shahamah (both locations are in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi).

The bus departs at around 5.20 in the morning, and the last one is around 1 in the morning. There is about one bus every hour.

How much?

When you use the nol card, you only need to pay 25 dirhams to board the boat, which is a very affordable way for residents of Dubai and Abu Dhabi to see how green the grassland across the Ghantoot border is .

how long?

This of course depends on the time you travel and the level of traffic involved, but the average travel time between each terminal is about 100 minutes. Perfect podcast digestion duration.

How about PCR testing?

If you travel from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, you do not need to show any form of PCR test, but please remember that if you return to Abu Dhabi, you must follow the rules below.

The trip from Dubai to Abu Dhabi requires PCR testing. The current rules stipulate that those who have received a vaccine approved by the UAE more than 28 days ago need to undergo a negative PCR test within 7 days (and display an “E” or “star” in their activities). Alhosn application) across the border. You must display a “Negative From” status in the Alhosn app to cross the border, and paper test certificates are not accepted.

Starting from September 20th, there will be additional requirements for those who have taken a double dose of Sinopharm injection six months ago. In order to maintain their classification as “vaccinated”, they need a third booster injection.

Individuals who have not been vaccinated will transit the country within 48 hours after receiving a negative test certificate. Results still need to be displayed through the Alhosn app, and the current rules of the Abu Dhabi Green Pass system mean that you must be vaccinated to enter all public places (except for some supermarkets and pharmacies).
