How We Got On is a WAVE Productions show produced by Anushka Agarwala Directed by Journey Cole. The show follows three talented teenagers in the 1980s as they come of age to make music in the new hip-hop scene.

moment chip is a six-minute segment from an unfinished film by avant-garde and queer film legend Kenneth Anger.Lewis Allen’s Desert Fury tells the story of two people despite the efforts of others to keep them apart. This complex web of desire illuminates the passions deep within mainstream cinema. In between, observers can glimpse colorful visions of queer film culture for decades to come.
Matthew Dix: “23”

The Evanston Art Center will host the opening reception of 23, a gallery featuring the work of Matthew Dicks, on Sunday. The exhibition will remain open until May 7th. Matthew Dicks, a contemporary American artist based in Chicago, describes the visual appeal of “23” as a reminder of the greatness of the African-American community beyond.
