Shortly after 6:30 pm on Thursday, Shep and Jeff kicked off the 2023 edition of the Amp The Alley concert series with live music.
Bruce Hood arrived about 30 minutes before the show started. He said he and his wife usually go to the concert series because they like the music, the atmosphere and the people who attend.
Edd Hines and his wife Vida sit with Sherry Whelan in the chairs in front of the Downtown Tap Room and Takosushi. Hines said they love the music and the people in the concert series.
Several children were playing on a large chess board (many used checkers as roller skates), and several attendees brought their dogs to the show.
The concert series is a partnership between restaurants located in The Alley, Bud Light, Hawk Law Group, Dumpster Depot and Woodchuckers Ax Throwing.
Concerts are free to attend and run every Thursday through October 23rd. Upcoming performers include Michael Hitchcock Band on April 6, Rae’s Creek Revival on April 13, Rattlesnake Cobra Awesome on April 20 and Mason Jars on April 27.
All concerts start at 6:30pm
