Chris Hemsworth is said to be slowing down after learning he’s at “high risk” of Alzheimer’s as he ages.
The 39-year-old “Thor” actor discovered while filming his National Geographic and Disney+ documentary “Infinity” that he may be prone to degenerative diseases in later life, sources say, though he plans to keep a close eye on his Hollywood workload , but he does not consider early retirement for the sake of his health.

The actor also said that knowing he was “eight to 10 times more likely” to struggle with Alzheimer’s disease “motivated me to want to take a break.”
“I’ve been accomplishing what I’ve signed on to do,” he added.
One of the plans is to “come home…take lots of vacation and simplify life” and “be with kids, wife.”
