Rihanna, Jay Z and Kim Kardashian were among the world’s richest when Forbes released its list of billionaires on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old Barbados singer and 42-year-old Kardashian star and 53-year-old Young Forever rapper landed on Forbes’ list of the world’s billionaires for the second year in a row.
Rihanna won the spot after foraying into the lingerie and beauty arena with her brand Fenty. The umbrella singer also helped her French business partner Bernard Arnault, chairman of French luxury goods giant LVMH, unseat Elon Musk as the world’s richest man, whose net worth grew by more than $50 billion to $211 billion Dollar.
Riri topped the Forbes list in 2002 with a net worth of $1.4 billion — down from $1.7 billion last year.
The SKIMS founder ranks No. 2,259 on the list with a net worth of $1.2 billion. The reality star has found huge success with her Skims shapewear line, and the company has an estimated market capitalization of $3.2 billion.
Meanwhile, Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West was removed from the list after he severed ties with Adidas over his anti-Semitic comments.
Last year, West, also known as Ye, ranked No. 1,513 on the Forbes list of the richest people, and signed a multiyear deal with the sports company for his brand Yeezy.
Other stars on the list are Jay-Z and Oprah Winfrey.
