Minor Hotels Appoints David Todd as Vice President of Operations

Hotel owner, operator and investor Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of David Todd as Vice President, Middle East Operations.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, David brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to his new role.

Prior to joining Minor Hotels, David held several senior positions at InterContinental Hotels Group, including most recently as Head of Operations for the Middle East and Africa, where he managed 52 hotels in 11 countries.

After taking him from his native Scotland to a number of hotel operations roles in countries such as Egypt, Oman and Qatar, his previous strategic roles include: Head of Hotel Lifecycle and Growth, managing owner relations from signing to opening, and Head of Franchising , the director has provided him with the key skills needed for Minor Hotels’ future growth plans in the Middle East.

In his new role, Todd will oversee the operations and development of Minor Hotels’ portfolio in the Middle East, including the Anantara, Avani, NH Collection, Oaks and Tivoli brands. He will also be responsible for developing and implementing the Group’s growth strategy in the region.
