James Corden leaves ‘The Late Show’ after eight years

James Corden will no longer host late night show at the end of April. The comedian is shifting his focus to acting.

Corden, however, is set to shine after hosting several Hollywood bigwigs in his final three weeks hosting the show.

Corden replaced Craig Ferguson on the 2015 show as part of a larger revamp of CBS’ late-night lineup following David Letterman’s retirement.

Corden will say a primetime goodbye on April 27 at 10 p.m. on CBS’ “The Final Late Show of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke Special.” The final episode will air that evening at its regular 12:37 p.m.
