According to Sky Sports F1’s Ted Kravitz, “For the first time since that fateful day in December 2021, former FIA race director Michael Masi is in the paddock.” However, he opted against the Silver Arrows when he mingled with a group of paddock regulars.

“He kept saying hello to the driver, [but] He hasn’t said hello to anyone at Mercedes. I don’t really… well, I do want to be a part of it, you know. But I won’t,” Kravitz revealed Massey’s attitude towards the Mercedes boys and girls.

There’s a lot of obvious vitriol going on right now, but Massie really tries to be a voice of reason while it’s all happening.

For Hamilton, it was clearly a feeling of being robbed. Regardless, the 7x champion will always regret Masi’s decision. But back in 2021, Massey did try to initiate peace talks when the wounds were still open.

“They have their own opinions and they are entitled to their own opinions. I respect any opinion and I have no right to comment on their thoughts. If someone comes to me for a discussion, I will be open and always have,” Masi was revealed to the Daily Mail.
