Shakira’s ex-partner Gerard Pique’s father has reportedly served her an eviction notice asking her to leave their home in Barcelona.
According to several Spanish media reports, Joan Piqué waka waka The singer sent an email in March 2023, asking him to move out of his son’s house by April 30, or pay compensation.
The mother-of-two, who was married to the former Barcelona star for 12 years and gave birth to his two sons, left Spain shortly afterward with her sons Sasha and Milan.
Shakira’s relationship with Gerrard’s parents Joan Pique and the Montserrat Bernabeu has soured following her painful split from the sports star.
The singer reportedly asked her sons to stop calling Montserrat “grandmother” and even placed a witch mannequin on the balcony of her home facing the 60-year-old.
She also allegedly started building a wall in her house so it wouldn’t connect to Gerald’s parents’ house.
Additionally, the singer listened to her song about Gerrard and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, on full blast at her place.
In the song, she even mentions Gerald’s mother, saying: “You treat my mother-in-law as my neighbor, the media is at the door, the debt is at the Treasury…”
Shakira was visibly emotional at Barcelona airport when they left the country with their son for a holiday before they eventually settled in Miami.
