Emirates flies flagship A380 on Casablanca route

[ad_1]

Emirates’ iconic flagship A380 touched down at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport yesterday (A380), signaling better ways to fly between Dubai and Casablanca, as well as increased demand for travel in and out of Morocco.

Passengers on the first A380 flight to Morocco were especially excited as the superjumbo wore a special livery designed for the event. The aircraft is painted in the livery of the Museum of the Future, Dubai’s newest definitive marvel, architectural icon and center for pioneering concepts and ideas.

The daily A380 service replaces existing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft currently operating between Dubai and Casablanca. Emirates flight EK 751 departed Dubai International Airport at 07:30 and landed in Casablanca at 11:55. EK 752 departs Casablanca at 1445h and arrives in Dubai at 0115h the next day.

The aircraft was received by Morocco Country Manager Khalfan Al Salami, as well as a number of VIPs, including Alasri Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Morocco, Omar Abdulrahman Al Tunaiji, UAE Consul General in Morocco, Alarby Bin Ebrahim, Public Relations Manager, and Abdalhaq Mazrour, Director of Morocco Airports.

Emirates has flown to Morocco for 21 years and the return of A380 service demonstrates its long-term commitment to the country, boosting inbound traffic and supporting the country’s tourism recovery. Casablanca remains a popular leisure destination on the Emirates network and the upgrade of service to the A380 will provide travelers with more connections to the Moroccan capital and to Dubai and beyond through Emirates’ extensive global network .

Passengers on the first A380 came from the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Passengers flying the A380 from Casablanca to Dubai enjoy seamless connectivity to its global network of 140 destinations.

First and Business Class customers can also take advantage of the recently launched chauffeur service in Morocco and enjoy a smooth, seamless, door-to-door experience in a perfectly presented vehicle in complete comfort and privacy.

Offering 14 first class suites and 76 business class lie-flat seats, Emirates’ A380 remains a sought-after traveler. Passengers flying to or from Casablanca can look forward to enjoying its spacious and comfortable cabin, signature products that give travelers the best in-flight experience, such as in-flight lounges, first-class suites, spa showers and an award-winning inflight entertainment system, which includes more than 5,000 channels of on-demand entertainment.

The airline has been accelerating the deployment of its flagship A380 aircraft to meet growing demand for air travel. Emirates’ A380s are currently deployed to 43 destinations, including Dubai, with plans to expand to several other cities in the coming months.
