washington [US]April 17 (ANI): The United States and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will co-host the 18th annual NATO Conference on Arms Control, Disarmament and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) Non-Proliferation on Monday.

Meanwhile, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will speak at the opening of the meeting on Tuesday, the U.S. State Department said in a statement.

The four-day meeting will be chaired by US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins and will be closed to the public.
