Emirates News Agency – 42 schools in Abu Dhabi start application for ‘Piscine’ coding process

ABU DHABI, 18th April, 2023 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi-based coding school, 42 Abu Dhabi, has opened applications for its May 2023 students, offering a “tuition-free” coding course.

Dubbed “Piscine,” the coding bootcamp is an immersive 25-day program that tests candidates’ computer programming skills, their drive, perseverance, and commitment to programming.

Applicants must complete the school’s pre-selection “game” online assessment and a virtual check-in discovery session to learn about Piscine and methods of learning. Successful candidates can expect to join a school with peer-to-peer learning technology and project-based gamified learning methods.

42 Marcos Muller Habig, Acting CEO of Abu Dhabi, said: “Hosting our second Piscine this year further reaffirms our position as a talent incubator that is developing and Emirati talent in programming, enabling them to lead Abu Dhabi’s digital future.At 42 Abu Dhabi, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide World-class coding education.”

Successful candidates can look forward to internship and work opportunities with partner organisations, including Mubadala Investments and Microsoft. All students who complete the program will be awarded a Diploma recognized by the UAE National Qualifications Centre.
