Abu Dhabi: Four Indians have won Dh100,000 each in the latest weekly grand lottery draw.
Dilip Devnani, an Indian national who won the first cash prize of Dh100,000 in the second weekly e-draw in April, is currently the head of a business unit of a company in Dubai. After seeing the Big Ticket in-store counter at Abu Dhabi International Airport two years ago, the Big Ticket customer decided to start buying raffle tickets and has been doing so ever since. Fellow Indian Vinay Vas has been named the second Dh100,000 cash prize winner in the second weekly e-draw in April. After seeing Big Ticket several times in the news and on social media, Vinay decided to start buying tickets, which he has done every month since 2017 with five of his closest friends.
Meanwhile, a resident of Sreejith, Qatar, has been named the winner of the week 2 e-draw in the third week of April. He also left with Dh100,000. Sreejith has been living in Doha for the past eight years and is currently working as a nurse. The Indian national chipped in with two of his friends to buy his first big ticket two years ago after hearing about the raffle through word of mouth. Asked how he plans to use his portion of the winnings, Sreejith told Big Ticket representatives that he plans to take his family on a visit to their home country.
Krishna Prakash, an Indian national who now owns his business in Dubai, won the final Dh100,000 cash prize in the second weekly e-draw in April, And has been buying big ticket raffle tickets every month for the past five years. The sole winner of the cash prize will invest his winnings in his venture and hopes to become a grand prize winner one day.
