SHARJAH – Arada has announced that it has commenced the handover of 114 townhouses and semi-detached villas at the Sarab 2 garden villa community in Aljada, a mega-project in Sharjah.
These two Sarab communities have the only villas and townhouses in the Aljada master plan. All homes in Sarab come standard with smart home features, cookers, range hoods and washer/dryers.

While both Sarab neighborhoods are located in the quiet and secluded area of Aljada, they are just a few minutes’ walk from Madar, the UAE’s fastest growing leisure and entertainment space, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects at 1.9 million square feet.
The completion of the Sarab 2 villa community brings the number of completed homes in Aljada to more than 5,500, following the completion of 2,473 homes at Nest, a senior student housing complex, and another 1,600 homes in the city’s East Village district last December.
The contract to build Sarab 2 was awarded to Dubai-based RAQ Contracting in October 2021.
Arada will also begin the handover process for an additional 600 units at Aljada’s Boulevard complex in the coming weeks. About 3,200 homes are currently being built at the Aljada site, with a total of 25,000 planned.
At 24 million square feet and worth AED 24 billion, Aljada is Sharjah’s largest ever project and a transformational destination for the emirate. In addition to numerous residential areas, Aljada also contains extensive retail, hotel, entertainment, sports, education, healthcare components and a business park, all within a green, walkable masterplan.
