UAE stocks maintain pre-Eid gains

ABU DHABI, 24th April, 2023 (WAM) — UAE stocks closed in the green on Monday, maintaining pre-Eid al-Fitr gains, with telecoms, consumer and energy indexes propelling the capital bourse to close 0.212% higher as property sector led gains Dongfeng, closed up 0.379%.

The FADGI index, backed by Abu Dhabi construction companies, was the best performer, surging 14.620% to AED0.196. ADNOC Gas rose to AED3.150, up 2.940%, as Etisalat led the telecoms index higher, inching up to AED23.960, up 2.480%.

In Dubai, leading real estate financier Amlak rose 5.580 percent to AED0.852, with Dart Al Takaful the best performer, up 12.650 percent to AED0.739.
