Air India on Wednesday announced additional flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai as part of the network adjustment process of Air India and Air India Express.
In the current summer flight schedule, Air India has increased frequency to operate up to 10 daily flights between Delhi and Dubai (both directions), including new flights commencing April 29, 2023. Between Mumbai and Dubai, Air India now operates up to 6 flights per day (both directions). For most of the week, that means eight daily flights to Dubai from the two Indian cities.
Flight schedules to and from Dubai are spread throughout the day, allowing Air India customers to choose morning, afternoon and evening flights according to their preference.
The optimization of Air India’s flight schedule to Dubai is part of an ongoing network realignment between Air India and Air India Express by increasing its presence on commercially more viable routes and reducing Frequency on overlapping routes to achieve synergies.
Air India also deploys its twin-aisle Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (18 fully flat beds in business class and 238 seats in economy class) on most of its daily flights to Dubai from Delhi and Mumbai. The remaining flights are operated by Airbus A320/321 aircraft.
*Exact departure times for some flights may vary on certain days of the week
