On Thursday, Youtuber Nikita Dragun’s music debut was embroiled in controversy.
The popular YouTube celebrity is mainly known for her makeup skills, but she is trying to get involved in the music industry and become famous as a pop star.
However, due to several reasons, the decline of her new single video has caused heated discussion.
Nikita was named by Asian Doll for using her image in the MV.
In the video, Nikita raps and sings “you are all wearing the s**t that I have already worn” because various female photos including Asian dolls are shown in the background. All female photos have the words “d**k” written on them.
Asians posted several tweets in response to Nikita, but Asians were also strongly opposed because of the gender error of Nikita in the message. As of Thursday night, Asian Doll’s Twitter account was not active.
“Nikita will be dragged away by his bald head,” an Asian tweet read.
“What do they call boys who are picky about girls? Bullying” read another.
Nikita fired back, letting Asian Doll know that the intention of using her image in the video was to make a statement about transgender women as trend-setting leaders.
“This statement is to show that transgender women set a trend for cisgender women, but they have never been honored. This is not meant to be shady to you. You are just an example,” Nikita wrote.
She also told another black woman that when the woman told Nikita that black women created a culture for the queer community, black transgender women and black homosexuals “empowered culture.”
Then, after Nikita Dragun shared Tyga messaged her and texted him in her video, Tyga became popular, and people criticized it for getting him out.
Tyga accused Nikita of chasing influence, and added that his company recently shot and directed a music video for her, which may suggest that this is the reason for the information.
