A delegation of senior UAE officials and business leaders visited Belgium with the aim of strengthening economic ties and promoting investment opportunities with Belgium and the wider European Union (EU).
At this time, the UAE is Belgium’s main trading partner in the Middle East, accounting for 21% of Belgium’s trade with Arab countries in 2022. In addition, non-oil bilateral trade between the UAE and the EU will reach USD 56 billion in 2022, achieving a growth of 9.3% compared to the same period in 2021.
