A new conference center/entertainment area is about to be built

[ad_1]

Dallas already has 35,000 hotel rooms, award-winning global cuisine and a walkable downtown. But we’re just getting started.

Visit Dallas is pleased to announce that the City of Dallas is expanding with a huge new convention center and entertainment district. With 800,000 square feet of exhibition space, 260,000 square feet of meeting rooms and 170,000 square feet of ballroom. The center connects business travelers with the dining and shopping options of the popular Cedar District, which means more places to do business and even more ways to relax.

“Dallas is already a great meeting and convention destination with the accessibility of two major airports, an affordable workforce and a great hotel product,” said D. Bradley Kent, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer, Visit Dallas. “The new center and convention center district will enhance Dallas’ competitive position, which is exactly what our clients want and have been asking for.”
