A third evacuation plane from conflict-torn Sudan landed in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday with 126 nationals from five countries on board.

“The UAE continues to prioritize the evacuation of the most vulnerable, including the sick, children, the elderly and women. This is in line with the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian assistance and enhanced global cooperation and solidarity. Airport at 5pm.

Mofaic added that the UAE, which has now evacuated a total of 390 people from Sudan, will provide all necessary support and assistance to the evacuees (from other countries) until they are safely transferred to their respective home countries.

The UAE government has evacuated some 400 people from 19 countries from Khartoum to the city of Port Sudan. The first evacuees arrived on Saturday with 128 people from 16 countries – including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Britain, Iraq, Serbia, Pakistan, Syria, Sudan, Indonesia, the United States, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Yemen, Tanzania, Ireland and Bangladesh.

A second evacuation plane from Port Sudan was carrying 136 evacuees, including UAE citizens, diplomats and nationals from nine other countries, and landed the next day.

the battle continues

The intense fighting that broke out on April 15 between government army chief Abdul Fattah al-Burhan and his second in command commanding the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Mohammad Hamdan Dagloh, has now entered Thousands of Sudanese and other nationals have been trying to leave the country every day for the third week.
